The Nebraska Pork Producers Association invests checkoff funds to provide sponsorship and donations to highlight examples for excellence in the pork industry in the areas of education, promotion and research.
The Nebraska Pork Producers Association receives many requests for sponsorships and donations each year. Using a sponsorship and donation application form creates an opportunity for all interested and qualified organizations to apply.
The Nebraska Pork Producers Association has the right to evaluate and limit sponsorship and donation requests. Limited funds are available.
The United States Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Marketing Service allows checkoff boards to make commodity or product donations provided the donation is tied to a public relations or promotional effort promoting the commodity and/or the image of the industry. Boards can provide funds to cover direct allowable expenses associated with exhibiting, symposiums, sponsorships, or memberships.
The United States Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Marketing Service does not allow checkoff boards to make donations of money or gifts that function as money to charities or other organizations.
Completion and submission of this form is required at least one month in advance.
Proof of recognition is required prior to payment.
