The National Pork Board is informing important stakeholders of the official transition from Youth Pork Quality Assurance (Youth PQA) to Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) on June 1, 2018.
As in previous communications, YQCA is a multi-species, science-based education program, offering access to every youth exhibitor ages eight to 21, nationally.
Youth with certificates expiring in June, July and August will receive a post card in the mail notifying them that May is the last month to certify in Youth PQA. Youth can go to pork.org/certifications for more information.
A thank you for your support throughout this extended transition and those who trained to be YQCA advisors.
Additional information about YQCA can be found at http://yqca.org or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
