Pork Talk Magazine

Nebraska Pork Talk is published quarterly by the Nebraska Pork Producers Association, Inc. (NPPA) to a circulation of more than 8,000, including all identified Nebraska pork producers and a variety of industry supporters.

Portions of Nebraska Pork Talk are partially funded by Nebraska pork producers and their checkoff investments.

The Nebraska Pork Producers Association also submits four pages to the Pork Checkoff Report, which is a quarterly publication. The four pages are published in Pork Checkoff Report - Nebraska Special Issue to all Nebraska pork producers. The National Pork Board funds the four pages in the Nebraska Special Issue.

With a print run of nearly 8000, Pork Talk serves as the primary vehicle for the distribution of state specific pork industry information.

Pork Talk disseminates pork industry-related information. Research, producer education, consumer information, producer activities, leadership comments, membership and public policy updates are just a few of the topics that fill each issue. The magazine serves as a principle print communication vehicle, serving all identified Nebraska pork producers and a variety of support industries. Throughout the year, NPPA also seeks opportunities for bonus distributions.
