NPPA staff and Nebraska pork producers educated children and adults about the importance of the pork industry and ended the week serving a pork loin meal to Matt Talbot's Kitchen and Outreach Center to more than 150 people in need.

The Pork Chop Scramble was a fundraiser for the association to sponsor scholarships at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Northeast Community College and Southeast Community College-Beatrice. NPPA thanks all who particpated, donated food and/or prizes and made the day a success.
