Pork Chop Scramble

The Pork Chop Scramble is a day full of golfing and a night full of fabulous food in the month of June. For the past nine years, NPPA has hosted a golf event to raise funds for college scholarships at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Southeast Community College-Beatrice and Northeast Community College. These scholarships provide leadership opportunities and educational experiences for Nebraska youth!

At the 2010 Pork Chop Scramble, more than 140 golfers participated in the record-breaking event and raised more than $5,000 for the scholarships! Thank you!

Capital City Ribfest

The Nebraska Pork Producers' Capital City Ribfest is a 4 day summer street festival featuring award-winning BBQ and music. The 2009 event attracted 31,475 people during four hot days! Ribfest is the largest, most popular summer event in downtown Lincoln and has been for the last 14 years!

NPPA hosts a VIP Night as a fundraiser for the Strategic Investment Program, a non-checkoff account. It is these investments that allow NPPA to actively work on regulation and legislation activities that are related to agricultural issues of importance to the Nebraska pork industry.

The VIP Night includes a social hour, a barbecue dinner and a live auction. This event is a great time for pork producers, allied members and friends of the pork industry to come together for a night of enjoyment and entertainment.
