Salute to Nebraska Packers for their Continued Support!

In addition to the proceeds raised from the Pigs on Parade Public Art Project and Fundraiser, Hormel Foods Corp. Farmland Foods, Inc. and Tyson Fresh Meats are each donating $500 of pork products to the Food Bank for the Heartland!

Nebraska pork producers would like to extend a very big thank you to Hormel Foods Corp., Farmland Foods and Tyson Fresh Meats as they show their continued support of Nebraska's number one industry - agriculture!

Join the Pigs on Parade!

The Pigs on Parade project is a great way to celebrate the Nebraska Pork Producers' 50th Anniversary with creativity and style. Nebraskans have the opportunity to puchase a life-sized pig, decorate it however they want, and show it off at a public venue until the One Big Night, September 24. Not only do the pigs grab attention across the state, but the proceeds from the auction benefit the Food Bank for the Heartland making this another great opportunity where pork producers, allied members and friends of the industry give back to their communitites.

Your Decorated Pig Will:

  • Raise money for Food Bank for the Heartland
  • Be displayed at your business or choice of public venue prior to the One Big Night to celebrate NPPA's 50th Anniversary and create hunger awareness for the Food Bank for the Heartland
  • Featured in NPPA produced videos, Pork Talk magazine, Hog Blog posts and other Social Media avenues
  • Will be displayed as part of the celebration's decoration. In addition, your business will be recognized to attendees from across the state, as a contributor to fighting hunger in Nebraska!

The pig is 30''x 18''x 26'' and comes with its own stand, making it perfect for outdoor or indoor displays! And it weighs less than 30 pounds and travels easy!
